Shauna attended University of California Los Angeles where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Subsequently, Shauna received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, Shauna served as a Production Editor for Loyola’s International and Comparative Law Review where she published four comprehensive case summaries from decisions rendered by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. While in law school, Shauna was also the recipient of the honorary first rank in her negotiations course.
Prior to joining the firm’s Charleston office in South Carolina in 2017, Shauna lived in Los Angeles, California where she engaged in insurance defense litigation, representing insurance companies and self-insured employers for about three years in workers compensation cases. Shauna has extensive experience in negotiations with medical providers and opposing parties.
Shauna lives with her husband, Kyan, in Charleston. In her spare time, Shauna enjoys spending time with family and friends and engaging in outdoor activities such as biking and hiking.
