If I accept the insurance adjustor's settlement offer, will the insurance company still pay my medical bills?

A: No. Once you accept an offer from the at fault party's insurance company, your case will be over. When the insurance company settles with you, all claims that you have against the other driver and the insurance company will be released. You will be responsible for all bills that are outstanding once you accept an offer and settle with the insurance company.

Remember, adjusters work for hte insurance company. This means that their primary interest is in saving the insurance company money. Their settlement offer may or may not be a reasonable offer, but keep in mind that their goal is to settle with injured parties for as little as possible. 1. Do you have total expected medical bills and lost wages (not just out-of-pocket expenses) of at least $2,000.00?
2. Is there visible property damage to your car?
3. Was the accident someone else’s fault?
4. Did you seek medical treatment no more than (3) days after the accident?
5. Have you followed the recommended course of treatment of your doctor?
6. Did the accident happen less than 18 months ago?
