17 Month Old Child Fatally Attacked by Pit Bull

A 17-month-old boy in California was fatally attacked by his baby sitter's pit bull last Friday. According to the babysitter, her pit bull Akita mixed dog attacked the child, biting his throat and dragging him through the yard. The woman stabbed her dog with a fork repeatedly before the dog finally let the child go. The child was airlifted to the Turlock Emanuel Hospital, but it was unfortunately too late. He died shortly after landing.
