19-Year Old Woman Killed While Crossing Street

A 19-year old, Berkeley County woman, Kissy Gallard died yesterday after being hit by a car while crossing North Highway 52. SC Highway Patrol said that Gallard was crossing near Northbranch Road, when Stephen Jackson hit her. Gallard died at the scene from injuries. The accident is being investigated, but at this time has been ruled an accident.
