3-Year-Old Spartanburg County Boy Drowns in Pool

A 3-year-old boy drowned on Saturday, August 27th, 2011 after falling into a swimming pool.
A sheriff who was called to the scene, reported that the boy's foster father was outside working on the yard and his wife was inside the house with their other children. The parents realized the boy was missing and began searching for him, only to find him in face down in their neighboring property's swimming pool.
At Spartanburg Regional Medical Center the boy was pronounced dead. The drowning is thought to be accidental.
The name of the boy has not been released.
