ATV Involved in Accident That Killed One Was Reported Stolen

Aiken County, SC - One man was killed in an ATV accident on Sunday, October 23rd in Aiken County. According to the Aiken
Near Gregory Road in Aiken, twenty-nine-year-old, Chad Anthony was riding an ATV with his friends, when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
Anthony was taken to Georgia Health Sciences Trauma Center after he was found to be unconscious. While being treated, they also found that he had sustained severe head and chest trauma. He was pronounced dead later that night.
Anthony had not been wearing a helmet while riding the ATV when the crash happened.
Soon after the incident, it was discovered that the ATV that he was riding had been reported stolen. The incident is still currently under investigation.
