Bicyclist Dies in Berkeley Collision with School Bus

Berkeley County, S.C. – A man riding a bicycle was hit and killed by a school bus on Monday, January 30th.
At around 5:30 p.m., Addison Robinson, Jr., 49, was riding his bicycle on Universal Circle in Berkeley County when the accident ocurred. Robinson was in front of the school bus when he changed lanes and was hit by the bus.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and Robinson later died from multiple body trauma.
There were three students riding the school bus at the time of the wreck, but they were not injured.
Charges have not yet been filed and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.
