Charleston School of Law Student Killed After Head On Collision

A head on collision kills Alexander Bush, 24, of Aiken on Wednesday night. Mr. Bush was visiting family and friends in Aiken on Christmas break. Mr. Bush and his passenger, Katie Scott, 22, of Couchton, both attended Charleston School of Law.

Katie Scott was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital and is listed as in critical condition. The driver of the adverse vehicle is Steven Corley, of Salley, and was also taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital for treatment with non life threatening injuries.

In statements taken by witness' of the accident it was noted that Corley was driving "erratically and speeding". Corley struck Bush's vehicle when he tried to pass another vehicle.
