Four Injured in Colleton County Car Accident

Location: Colleton County
Four people were injured, two in critical condition, after a car accident Wednesday night. The accident occured when a Honda Accord crashed into a Ford Thunderbird in a high-speed collision. Both cars came to rest in a water-filled ditch.
Colleton County deputies responded around 9:45 Wednesday night, at which time one man was airlifted to MUSC and a female passenger was taken to Colleton Medical Center and later transfer by ambulance to MUSC. The other two passengers were also taken to Colleton Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
