Greenville Teen Steals Car, Crashes Into Apartment Building

Greenville, S.C. - After stealing a car, a 16-year-old boy crashed into an apartment building on Thursday, November 17th.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that police were attempting to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation and began following the car. The boy did not stop and the car ended up going airborne before hitting the apartment building. 
The accident occurred on Old Augusta Road, while the boy was trying to turn onto Shemwood Lane. Speed likely caused the boy's stolen vehicle to go up an embankment, airborne, and crash into the apartment. A passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Quinton Taylor, sustained injuries in the crash and was taken to Greenville Memorial.
There were three people in the apartment at the time that it was hit by the stolen car. The were not injured and the incident is currently under investigation.
