Hilton Head Pedestrian Killed In Bus Accident

Jasper County, S.C. -A twenty-eight-year-old man was hit and killed by a bus while crossing Highway 462 on the morning of Wednesday, October 27th. 
Zachary Scott Holland, of Hilton Head island, reportedly died at the scene of the incident. The SouthCarolina Highway Patrol stated that while trying to pass a vehicle, the motor coach struck Holland who was walking in the roadway. The accident occurred around 6:00am while the motor coach was traveling eastbound on Highway 462.
The fourteen passengers who were riding the bus at the time of the accident were not injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
