Iva Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Tractor

Iva, S.C. - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a tractor in Anderson County near Iva on Thursday, April 26th.

At around 6:45pm, Timothy Sean Black, 44, of Iva, was traveling on his motorcycle on SC-413 at Sam Byrum Road when the accident occurred. Black hit the side of a tractor that was making a right-hand turn into a driveway, causing the tractor to flip over.

Black was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of head trauma. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The driver of the tractor was injured in the accident and his current condition is unknown.
