Man Charged with DUI in Fatal Hwy 90 CrashPosted on Apr 05, 2012
Ryan Douglass Roszel, of North Myrtle Beach, was driving a 1997 Honda on Highway 90 near Carriage Lake Drive at around 10:00pm when the accident happened. Roszel apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over into a ditch. As a result, one passenger was trapped in the Honda, and two others were thrown from it.
Gail Lynch, 34, of Little River, did not survive the accident. Roszel and the other passenger were taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries that they sustained in the accident.
Roszel has since been released from the hospital and charged with felony DUI involving great bodily injury as well as felony DUI involving death.
