Man Die After Rear-Ending Ambulance

A 25-year old Pennsylvania man died on Wednesday after rear-ending an Horry County ambulance the night before. The crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. on the N. U.S. 17 Bypass near Inlet Square Drive.

The ambulance was leaving the intersection, when the man's 2003 Nissan two-door struck the rear of the abulance.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt. South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the accident, but no charges are expected to be filed.
