Mother of Deadly Folly Road Crash Victim Speaks Out

The mother of one of the victims in a deadly wreck that occured on February 15, 2011 speaks out about her daughter's road to recovery.
The horrific accident claimed the life of 19 year old Megan Corbett and left two other teens, Kristen Hunt and Glenn Chris III injured along with Brittany West, who remains in critical condition.
For the past 29 days the devoted mother; Dawn Hancock has not left her daughter's side vowing that she will not leave until her daughter is ready to come home.
Hancock states that "she is not able to walk, talk or feed herself. She stood up for the first time days ago and that was very exciting to see". Ms. Hancock knows that her daughter's journey is far from over and she has no time frame on when she will be able to leave the hospital and return to her home in Ladson. "She shattered her spleen, she has 4 broken ribs, broken nose,cheek bones,broken eye bones,femur and a broken leg." Hancock says.
The police report stated that none of the teens were wearing seatbelts. According to Hancock, this could have lessened her daughter's injuries.
