One Killed in Three Car Spartanburg Accident

Spartanburg, SC - One person was killed in an accident that involved three cars in Spartanburg County on Monday, January 30, 2012.
The victim who was killed in the accident has been identified as 67-year-old Shirley Aileen Sayre, of Wellford.
The accident occurred when collided while traveling west on Drayton Road. This caused one of the vehicles to go into the eastbound lane and hit another vehicle head-on. Sayre was driving in the vehicle that was hit head-on.
Three other people who were injured in the accident were taken to Spartanburg Regional.
The incident is still currently under investigation.
******UPDATE******
In relation to the accident that killed Shirley Aileen Sayre, Christina Hudson of Spartanburg County is facing charges.
Hudson has been charged with felony DUI resulting in death, two counts of felony dui resulting in great bodily injury, driving under suspension, violating ABC liquor laws and a seatbelt violation.
