One Killed & One Injured in Bonneau AccidentPosted on Apr 10, 2012
At around 3:00am, James Seay, 48, was driving a pickup truck on Harristown Road when he left the right side of the road and crashed into trees along the roadway.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, Seay was pronounced dead as a result of head trauma. His passenger was ejected from the vehicle and had to be taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. Neither Seay, nor his passenger, were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
The condition of the passenger is currently unknown.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
