Paper Plant Settles Lawsuit Over Explosion

A lawsuit over the 2008 explosion in the Mississippi paper plant that killed one and injured 22 other workers has been settled. International Paper Co. settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed amount, following at least three other lawsuits stemming from the explosion the company settled earlier this year. Several other lawsuits filed by the injured workers are still pending in litigation.
