School Bus Carrying 60 Elementary School Children Crashes in West Ashley

A school bus filled with children collided with a car Monday afternoon at the intersection of S.C. Highway 61 and Shadowmoss Parkway. A spokesman for the Charleston police said an oncoming driver failed to yield before turning left turn in to the path of the school bus, causing the wreck.
Parents were immediately notified of the bus accident and rushed to the scene to pick up their children. Luckily, there have been no serious injuries reported from the school bus so far.
