Three-Car Wreck Kills One Pedestrian in Aiken County

Aiken County, SC - A three-car accident on Pine Log Road in Aiken led to the death of a female pedestrian Wednesday afternoon.
The name of the woman who was killed has not yet been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened at about 4:10 p.m. when an SUV driven by 51-year-old Susan Lockhart of Aiken collided with a minivan driven by 42-year-old Ricky Cunningham while they were both travelling northbound.
The minivan then crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck driven by 36-year-old Carlton Fogg that was travelling southbound. Fogg's vehicle then traveled off of the right side of the roadway, resulting in the death of the pedestrian.
All of the drivers of the vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident and the incident remains under investigation.
