Two Fatal Pedestrian Accidents Halloween Weekend

Type: Pedestrian Accident, Truck Accident
Nineteen year old, Viktoria Melnik, was walking down Highway 357 near Greer in the upstate, when she was struck by the driver of a Ford truck. The accident occurred shortly after 1:00 am on Friday night. Ms. Melnik was pronounce dead at the hospital, according to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger. The driver of the truck was not injured.

A sixty two year old man was killed Friday night when he was struck by a GMC pickup truck in Spartanburg. Reports say the pedestrian entered the roadway around 8:00 pm, and was struck by the oncoming truck.
