UPDATE: Conditions Upgraded for 2 Victims of Anderson Accident

 - Two people who were injured in a head-on collision on S.C. 24 on a bridge over Hartwell Lake on Friday, March 9th, near Anderson, have had their conditions upgraded. Anderson accident 

Thirty-six-year-old Michael O’Rawe, of Pompano Beach, FL, and 29-year-old Mendy Stephens, of Gainseville, GA, have had their conditions upgraded and are now in good condition. They are currently being treated at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.

Thirty-three-year-old Hans Pledger Jr., of Cleveland, GA, and a 3-year-old child were also injured in the wreck and transported by helicopter to Greenville Memorial Hospital. As of Saturday, Pledger was reported to be in fair condition Saturday and it is unknown what condition the child is in at the moment. 

The head-on collision occurred when Pledger's Buick LeSabre crashed into O’Rawe's GMC Yukon.

No charges have been made and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
