Woman Dies After Falling From Motorcycle on Interstate 26

Ton-Yeka Williams accident
Berkeley County Coroner's Office identifed the victim of a motorcycle accident as Ton-Yeka Williams. Ms. Williams was a passenger on a motorcycle being driven by Walter Lee Mungin Jr.
The bike was traveling on I-26 in the westbound lane near mile marker 193, one mile from the Jedburg exit. Ms. Williams fell from the back of the bike and was airlifted to The Medical University of South Carolina. The reason for the fall is unknown. Ms. Williams died from her injuries on Monday, May, 16, 2011 from injuries sustained in the accident. No further details are available at this time. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
