Woman Dies in Tragic Head-On Collision with RV

On Tuesday July 6, after spending the July 4th Weekend with her family, 80-year old Sarah Hartsock tragically died in a head-on collision with an RV.
The accident occurred as Ms. Hartsock was traveling west on I-26 towards Columbia, when the RV crossed the median and collided head-on with her car. Witnesses say the RV blew a tire and the driver lost control of the vehicle. Ms. Hartsock died of blunt force trauma around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The RV driver, 66-year old James Rodriguez was headed home to Florida and was uninjured in the accident.
