North Charleston, S.C. – A Goose Creek man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday, April 9th, when an 18-wheeler pulled out in front of him on Remount Road near Virginia Avenue. 
At around 7:30am, 44-year-old Scott Arrington, of Goose Creek, was riding his motorcycle on Remount Road in North Charleston when the accident happened. An 18-wheeler failed to yield to Arrington while pulling out of a parking lot and as a result, collided with Arrington’s motorcycle.
Arrington was taken to a local hospital where he later died of blunt force trauma. He was wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.
The driver of the 18-wheeler, 47-year-old Louis Hunter Jr., was arrested and charged with reckless homicide.
