Anderson County, S.C. — An accident on Thursday, January 19th, in Anderson left one woman dead after she sustained serious injuries.
Twenty-eight-year-old Crystal Cribbs was driving on S.C. 28 Bypass near Charley Drive at around 9:20pm when she was involved in the accident. She was traveling east in her Pontiac vehicle when she crossed the median and struck a Nissan pickup head-on that was traveling west. The driver of the Nissan pickup, 46-year-old Jaime Guevara, was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and did not sustain any injuries.
Cribbs was not wearing a seat belt and was trapped in her vehicle. She was taken to the neuro intensive care unit at AnMed Health Medical Center where she died on Saturday at 2:48 p.m. due to head trauma.
