A 14-year old girl almost ran over a 13-month old toddler on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 on Booker T. Washington Drive.
Police say the teenager put the toddler on a toy car in the driveway and then sat in the car to listen to music. When another child jumped into the teen girl’s lap, the car was accidently knocked into gear.
The car began to roll backward. The toddler was knocked off his toy car, but luckily the car was put back into park and only rolled against him.
The toddler was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
