A Goose Creek man was rushed to MUSC after being ejected from his vehicle during an accident on Thursday. The accident happened about 1:00 p.m. in this afternoon at the intersection of Old State Road and Redbank Road in Goose Creek. Witnesses stated that they saw a silver Plymouth run the red light and collided with the driver’s-side of the victim’s blue Dakota. The truck jumped the curb and came to rest in the B&L Bingo parking lot. Witnesses, including a registered nurse, helped the bleeding man until paramedics arrived. It is unknown if the man was wearing a seat belt.
