According to a report at Live 5 News, the car accident injured one man, and troopers have yet to locate the driver that caused this crash.
Investigators say the victim was driving on Highway 1 near Elgin when he was run off the road by a Ford Crown Victoria shortly after 8 a.m. The victim’s car swerved into a ditch and rolled over several times before coming to a rest on the passenger’s side. The victim, a man from Lugoff, suffered minor personal injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene of the accident. Fortunately, the victim told reporters that he rarely wears a seat belt, but for some reason, he decided to wear his seat belt on Tuesday morning.
