Seneca, S.C. – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the night of Friday, March 16th in Seneca on Wells Highway.
Larry Ray Brooks, 46, Seneca, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on Wells Highway at around 9:08pm when the accident happened near Hi-Tec Road. A Lexus, driven by a 17-year-old, turned in front of Brooks to get onto Hi-Tec Road, causing the motorycle and the car to collide.
Brooks did not survive the incident due to multiple blunt-force injuries.
The 17-year-old driver of the Lexus and his 16-year-old passenger were both wearing seat belts and were taken to Oconee Medical Center.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
