Georgetown County Sheriffs Department has charged a woman with attempted murder after she is accused of hitting two women intentionally with her car and then turned around her SUV and hit one of the victim’s again.
Police have charged Ivory R. Wilson of two counts of attempted murder. The incident happened this morning at approximately 10:16 am in the area of Ben Horry Trail when officers responded to a call that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
According to investigators, the incident stemmed from an early morning dispute that Wilson had with one of the pedestrians.
One of the victims was taken to Waccamaw Hospital and the other was transported to Georgetown Memorial Hospital for their injuries.
While the deputies were responding to this incident, a drive by shooting was called in on Grate Avenue where the suspect’s vehicle was involved.
Both of the incident’s are under investigation by Georgetown County Sheriff’s office and have developed leads that the two incidents are related.
