Rebecca Cobb Jones joined the Shelly Leeke Law Firm in January of 2024.
Rebecca is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association. She earned her Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree from the University of South Carolina, in 2014, graduating Cum Laude. During her undergraduate education, Rebecca participated in a study-abroad program in Paris, France, focused on Contemporary Issues in European Law & Policy, and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement & Student Triumph Award (“TOAST”). Rebecca then relocated to Charleston, South Carolina to pursue her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. During law school, Rebecca served as a Student Ambassador, Orientation Committee Chairman, and Legal Research and Writing Fellow. Rebecca was awarded funding to attend the Labor Law & Arbitration Conference in San Francisco, California during her third year. Rebecca also participated in the Charleston County Adult Guardianship Program, was placed on the Dean’s List, and received the CALI award for excellence in Legal Writing. After law school, Rebecca spent five years practicing workers’ compensation defense, before beginning her plaintiff’s/claimant’s practice.
Born and raised in Camden, South Carolina, Rebecca now resides in West Ashley, South Carolina, with her husband, Joshua Jones, and their two dogs, Stella & Brady. Outside the office, Rebecca prides herself on remaining an active member of the Charleston community. She enjoys volunteering with the Historic Charleston Foundation, the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Charleston Junior League, and is a member of the ‘Save the Light’ Foundation benefiting the Morris Island Lighthouse. Rebecca enjoys staying active through indoor cycling, as well as golf and tennis lessons. In her free time, she loves to travel, read, and peruse local estate sales. Rebecca is also passionate about Gamecock athletics and enjoys spending time with her family on the Charleston waterways.
