Construction Worker Killed in Accident in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. — An accident involving a back hoe on Saturday, November 26th, left an 18-year-old construction worker from North Carolina dead.
Eighteen-year-old Maynro Perez of Charlotte, was working on the Giordana Velodrome on Cherry Road in Rock Hill when he was injured by the back hoe. He was immediately taken to Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, where he died soon after from his injuries.
The details of the accident have not yet been released.
