Ms. Michaella Magaard was born and raised in Rockford, Minnesota. Michaella graduated from Hamline University, Cum Laude with a B.A. in Criminology and a minor in Forensic Science in 2019. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Charleston School of Law in 2022. Ms. Magaard is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association.
Mickie enjoys hockey, football, reading, art museums and being somewhere near water. Ms. Magaard is a previous youth ambassador for The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and she and her family raised one million dollars for the foundation in 2006. As a former resident of Minnesota, she shares that she is grateful to be out of the frigid weather and enjoys all the sunny days that Charleston has to offer.
